The owner of Localmei was born and raised in the Biluochun tea producing region, where tea was a part of life from a young age. After moving to Hong Kong, over the past two decades she has been influenced by Hong Kong's preservation of traditional Chinese culture, deeply appreciating how Chinese tea has blended into life in Hong Kong and taken on a new branch in terms of inheritance and expression.
With the camaraderie of friends from the Hong Kong tea community, she has gradually deepened her understanding of Pu'er, Zisha, tea vessels, and the art of tea. This store builds on years of growth. Drawing from our collection of aged Pu’er of Hong Kong storage and mid-term Pu’er stored in Hong Kong, we occasionally add other types of tea, to share and present Chinese tea as well as the tea cultures of China and Hong Kong.
