Although tangerine Pu’er is popular, good tangerine Pu’er is hard to come by.

This tangerine Pu’er combines ripe Pu’er tea from 2006 with Xinhui tangerine peel from 2008, both aged adequately and nicely. The Pu’er tea inside the tangerine peel is not overly ripe, resulting in a fresh tea soup. The tangerine peel is rich in oil and releases a strong aroma when brewed. Here you have the perfect combination of Xinhui aged tangerine peel, one of the three treasures of Guangdong, and Yunnan Pu'er tea.

Each tangerine Pu’er can be divided into 2 to 3 portions, making each serving more affordable than ordering a glass of iced lemon tea at a local Hong Kong-style cafe.
